KK Fosu ‘quits’ music, manages footballers

Most musicians these days are in a way trying to ‘quit’ music and venture into other businesses perhaps because they’re finding it difficult to get hit songs.

Setting the record straight, Samini has ventured into onion plantation, Tic Tac is now into Pork and pizza business, Hammer and Bandex are into bread and the list goes on. We applaud them because it’s always good to get income from different sources.

Now, Hip Life artiste KK Fosu after making good name for himself in our music industry has stated clearly that he’s into football management. According to the “Yapesi” hit maker, he has players in Europe and Asia he manages and with time, they will become great assets he will be making more money from.

“I went outside the country. I went into football management. I manage footballers; I have footballers outside the country. I nurture them. I am doing some courses on football management. I have players in Europe, Asia. My investment in football will make me one of the richest artistes in Ghana in the next five (5) to ten (10) years. I started doing this in 2002. Ask Sly Tetteh and he will testify. I kept this from the public eye”, KK Fosu made this known in an interview with Suncity Radio.

Although KK Fosu failed to mention the names of the players he’s currently managing outside Ghana but we’re optimistic he’ll get positive results in some years to come.

But then, he admitted that managing footballers is not that easy but he’s determined to take his players as far as he could. As a reminder, KK Fosu used to manage Stars FC, a second division football team at Mamprobi in Accra. This presupposes that he has football administration at heart from day one.
