Official: Hearts Of Oak Sack Coach Henry Wellington

Hearts of Oak have terminated the contract of head coach Henry Wellington and goalkeeper’s trainer Jerry Adjei following the team’s disappointing showing in the first round of the Zylofon Cash Premier League.

Wellington was appointed interim coach ahead of the start of the season after Scottish trainer Frank Nuttall was fired for unsporting and unethical behaviour.

Head coach of U-20 team, Auroras, Seth Hoffman has been promoted to take temporary charge of the senior team until a substantive coach is appointed.

Wellington’s assistant Nii Dodoo Odoom has been reassigned to the U-20 team.

The Phobians occupy the 12^th position, three points from safety.
