Liverpool news: Jurgen Klopp will join Real Madrid if Reds board do one thing – report

LIVERPOOL boss Jurgen Klopp will reportedly join Real Madrid if the Reds board agree to negotiate an exit, according to reports.
Liverpool manager Klopp is an unlikely candidate to be the next Real Madrid manager following Zinedine Zidane’s shock resignation.

The Frenchman quit the Bernabeu last week just five days after guiding the club to a third Champions League title in as many years.

Klopp appears happy at Liverpool and has steered them to three finals during his three years in charge.
But Spanish outlet Don Balon suggest there is still a chance the 50-year-old will take over at Real.

It is claimed he is aware of Real’s interest in him.

Florentino Perez is supposedly an admirer with his efforts to land Tottenham’s Mauricio Pochettino failing to pay off.

Liverpool are likely to rebuff any Real approach for Klopp.

But, if they somehow decide to negotiate, then Don Balon say the German is willing to take the job.

However, he supposedly wants several players sold if he does come in.

Kiko Casilla, Achraf, Vallejo, Marcos Llorente and Borja Mayoral would reportedly be surplus to requirements.
And he would also insist on both Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale staying.

The duo are heavily linked with a move to Manchester United.

Some reports have even suggested that Ronaldo has been promised his old No 7 shirt by Jose Mourinho.

But Klopp going to Real still appears some way off and his unfinished business at Liverpool should see him stay.
