PaySwitch is here to stay – Veep Dr. Bawumia

 

The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia graced the launch of PaySwitch Company Limited. In HE. Dr. Bawumia’s key note address, he lauded the Ghanaian own Fintech Company, PaySwitch, for their initiatives and effort to also contribute to the objectives of government to enhance the ease of doing business in the country using technology.

 

 

Speaking at the launch of PaySwitch Company Limited, HE. Dr. Bawumia, expressed governments support to local setups aimed at boosting economic prosperity. He added that, not only is local companies as such provides employment but also contributes to the revenue of government through taxes.

 

The Governor of Bank of Ghana, Dr. Ernest Addison, Key Note Speaker of the launch, congratulated PaySwitch and urged them to continue to support the Banking System in the area of technology.

Chief Executive of PaySwitch Company Limited, Mr. Kojo Choi, in his address, mentioned that PaySwitch has a culture to win with teamwork by their staff, with their core focus to discover, disrupt and deliver.

 

“Our culture is to win, and we win by having our team have a believe that they can do anything to achieve any goal that is set before them as individuals or as a company. Our core focus is to discover, disrupt and deliver” he said.

 

Mr. Choi added that PaySwitch is ready to partner and collaborate with stakeholders to help enhance the payment system in Ghana and Africa. “as a business, we also focus on how to strike partnerships and collaboration with individuals and corporate to help propel the vision we possess for Ghana and Africa” he said.

The well-organized event saw some dignitaries and professionals in the business Community in Ghana attendance.

Meanwhile, PaySwitch Company Limited is a Ghanaian company which provides integrated electronic payment solutions. The Company was in operations since 2015 by providing online payment aggregator solution known as “theTeller”.

 

PaySwitch also provides Switching Service, Card hosting and Management, Fraud Prevention and Detection as well as Payment aggregation. PaySwitch Company. PaySwitch also has a Mobile Wallet that allows users to make transfers and payment using their mobile phones or a plastic card linked to a preloaded wallet among others.
