Late Ghanaian artiste, Ebony Reigns took home the ultimate at the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

She won ‘Artiste of the Year’ and two other awards – ‘Album of the Year’ and ‘Afro Pop song of the Year.’ She made history by becoming the first female and dead artiste to win the ultimate.

Her award was received on her behalf by her former manager, and parents.

The 19th edition of the Ghana Music Awards was held at the Accra International Conference Center.

Sarkodie, Samini, Stonebwoy, Tiwa Savage, Kwesi Arthur, Joe Mettle, King Promise, Kidi and Fancy Gadam were some of the performers on Ghana’s biggest music night.

The theme for the 19th edition of the event was “Our Music Beyond Borders” –  to inspire Ghanaian artistes and music industry players to aspire toward making strong influences globally with their music and artistry.

It was hosted by Berla Mundi and John Dumelo.

Ghana Music Awards Festival is the biggest event on the Ghanaian music calendar.

It was powered by CharterHouse in partnership with the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) and under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts and sponsored by Vodafone Ghana.
