Video surfaces of mortuary man fondling corpses of Ebony and partner

A video of a morgue man fondling and playing with the corpses of Ebony and her alleged lesbian partner, Franky Kuri, has reached GhanaCelebrities.Com—and to say it’s shockingly disgusting is an understatement.

Thomas Hobbes in his ‘State of Nature’ argued that human beings are inherently nasty and brutish—now, there seems to be a different layer to this in relation to certain Ghanaians. And that is: some Ghanaians are extensively stupid, made worse by the advent of camera mobile phones.

There’s no question as to the illegality of what has been recorded in the video but let me tell you about what happened in a civilised country, Britain, a few months ago to serve as a persuasive precedent for the immediate arrest and imprisonment of the retarded f*cker who was recorded fondling, including touching the belly piercing of the naked body of Ebony at a morgue.

A few hours after Grenfell Tower’s fire disaster in London, Omega Mwaikambo, 43, took and posted on Facebook one video and two pictures of the body bag a victim was inside and then later five pictures of the dead man’s face and body after opening the bag to look inside.

In a matter of a few hours, the man was arrested, charged and later thrown into jail for sending by a public communications network an offending, indecent or obscene matter contrary to section 127 of the Communications Act at Westminster Magistrates’ Court.

It did not matter that the man thought he did not do anything wrong—society found what he did repulsive, prosecutors acted swiftly and he was punished for it.



With the above in mind and even a more disturbing widespread information that morgue men in Ghana go as far as having sex with corpses in their care, this callous man who was videoed touching and fondling the two dead bodies must be immediately arrested—together with his accessory who was doing the recording.

I have seen emerging arguments such as: it’s his job to be touching the dead bodies entrusted into his care to ensure they do not decay. I do not know how true this is but even if that’s his job description, I am certain it does not include recording this act and also fondling boobies and stomach piercings.

Finding this man should be very easy by the authorities because his face clearly shows in the video. Secondly, with the two corpses being at one morgue, it points to the fact that it took place at the first morgue in the Brong Ahafo Region where the bodies were briefly kept together.

I cannot believe another human being, a Ghanaian adult found this acceptable and acted this way. But what’s even more unacceptable are those asking for the video to be sent to them under the absurd conception of “seeing is believing”—which will obviously lead to further circulation.

The Ghanaian is sick and it doesn’t seem like we are going to get better anytime soon.

This is totally wrong and it does not matter whether it’s Ebony’s corpse or that of the daughter of the tomatoes seller in Bimbila.
