Chelsea news: Eden Hazard makes Real Madrid transfer decision as Blues offer huge contract

EDEN HAZARD has reportedly decided not to renew his contract with Chelsea and will instead hold out on a move to Real Madrid.
Eden Hazard has long been linked with a switch to the European champions with Zinedine Zidane desperate to bring him to the Bernabeu.

Madrid’s disastrous defence of their La Liga title will see club president Florentino Perez splash the cash this summer as he looks to land several marquee signings.

The good news for Hazard is Madrid see him as their priority target.

However, Chelsea are reluctant to let their star man leave this summer and are likely to rebuff any offers from the La Liga giants.

According to Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo, Chelsea have offered Hazard a contract extension on his current deal that runs until 2020.

Hazard has been presented new terms of £300,000 a week but his heart is set on a move to the Spanish capital.

Mundo Deportivo claim Hazard is happy to wait for Madrid to come knocking and is hopeful of a deal being finalised when the transfer window reopens at the end of the season.
Los Blancos are reportedly ready to offer the Blues £109m for his services.
Hazard has also been linked with moves to Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City but the forward has informed Madrid he will snub any offers from them to link up with Zidane.

Zidane has been the driving force behind Madrid’s plans to sign the 27-year-old and it seems the Frenchman is moving closer to landing his star target with Hazard putting the wheels in motion to secure his move.
