Anthony Martial involved in Manchester United row because of Jose Mourinho

MANCHESTER UNITED star Anthony Martial was involved in a row with Jose Mourinho after the Red Devils’ recent 2-0 defeat to Tottenham, according to reports.
Manchester United were beaten by Tottenham last month with Spurs easing to victory courtesy of Christian Eriksen’s first-half strike and Phil Jones’ own-goal.

Martial cut a frustrated figure throughout that match, with the France international struggling to make his mark at Wembley.

And The Sun say the 22-year-old reacted badly after Mourinho criticised him for his poor performance against Tottenham.

It is said the Manchester United star was told he had played badly at Wembley.

And, with tempers boiling over, he then threw a bottle in frustration.
The Sun say the object hit a member of staff but they refuse to disclose whether anybody was injured.

United’s season has struggled for lift-off in recent months.

The Red Devils returned to winning ways against Huddersfield in the FA Cup at the weekend, easing to a 2-0 win after brace from Romelu Lukaku.

But performances in the Premier League have left much to be desired.
United had lost twice once going into December’s derby game against Manchester City.

Yet Mourinho’s men have since slipped to two more defeats since City put them to the sword at Old Trafford.

Martial is expected to feature when United go up against Sevilla in the Champions League on Wednesday.

The match is United’s first in the knockout stages of the competition for four years.

And Mourinho’s team will start as favourites as they aim to win Europe’s biggest club tournament for the first time since 2008.
