If Sarkodie disses me, I will respond equally – Flowking Stone

Arguably the pride of Ashanti region when it comes to rap, Flowking Stone has stated categorically that if Sarkodie should jab him in any of his raps, he will not hesitate to stage an epic clap back.

Flowking, speaking in an interview on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM with Andy Dosty said deliberate rap battles leading to beefs were not necessary. According to him, he would not dedicate his time to engaging in such acts.

“There were times that when we were kids we used to do battles, I have a cause, I am a thinker, I don’t have time for stuff like that (anymore),” he said.

He, however, revealed that if he had to engage in a rap battle, it would have to be one with sufficient remuneration.

“If it comes with a lot of money like we do some studio thing, and we are going to get a lot of money, why not?” the rapper added.



However, the rapper, currently promoting his new single ‘Real Talk’, said he would respond to rapper Sarkodie if he jabs him in equal measure.

“If he disses me for real, yes I would get back at him, straight. If he gets to me, I’ll get back at him, no two ways about that,” Flowking stressed.

The member of the hiplife duo Bradez was, however, quick to add that it is better if musicians unite to achieve a common cause.

He said rap that leads to beefs are not healthy for the industry.

The rapper noted for his lyrical dexterity and flow, in 2016 released a 27 track album he called ‘Gifted’. On it was hit songs like ‘Go Low’, ‘Fire Burn Dem’, ‘Machine Gun’ amongst others.
