Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo furious Zinedine Zidane ignored James Rodriguez advice

REAL MADRID star Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly unhappy that manager Zinedine Zidane refused to listen to his transfer advice in the summer.
Real Madrid’s season is in freefall with the club out of the Copa del Rey following a shock 2-1 home defeat to Leganes last night.

Zidane is fighting for his job at the Bernabeu with club president Florentino Perez likely to wield the axe should they fail to beat PSG in the last 16 of the Champions League.

Ronaldo has endured a nightmare campaign so far, with the 32-year-old likely to leave at the end of the season.

The former Manchester United forward has cut an increasingly frustrated and subdued player so far this term.

And Spanish outlet Diario Gol say he is unhappy with Real Madrid manager Zidane for failing to bow to his demands in the summer.
It is said Ronaldo wanted Isco to be shown the door, rather than James Rodriguez.



Both players fought it out for a spot in Zidane’s side last season but, in the end, there was only one winner.

Isco’s stunning form in the second half of the season proved key as the club scooped the La Liga and Champions League titles.

Rodriguez, meanwhile, was often stuck on the bench.
The Colombia international has since been offloaded to Bayern Munich, signing a two-year loan deal.

Yet Diario Gol say Ronaldo feels it is the wrong decision, and that Isco should have gone instead.

The forward supposedly conveyed his feelings on the matter with president Perez.

And, even though the 70-year-old agreed that Rodriguez was a top player, he ultimately chose to side with Zidane.
