Inspector Shot Dead Robbers free 7 Colleagues in Kwabenya Police Station

Kwabenya Police Station in the Greater Accra Region has been hit by a gang of robbers after freeing seven (7) armed robbers in the cells.

The act happened on 21st January 2018 about 0200 hrs.

Suspected robbers accosted those on duty, shot an inspector on the spot and later freed their colleague armed robbers in custody.

Ghana Police Accra has issued a statement which captures names of the suspects.Dickson Ofori (24years – Ghanaian), Chilbuzor Akwabu (34years – Nigerian), Edem Rockson (32years – Ghanaian), Prince Osei (27years – Ghanaian),Emmanuel Kotey (21years – Ghanaian),Kofi Darko (21years – Ghanaian),Atta Kwadwo (20years – Ghanaian).

News reaching Ghanadailies.com that the Inspector on duty who was shot by one of the robbers has passed on.
