KUMACA turned into prayer camp after mysterious deaths

Authorities of Kumasi Academy in the Ashanti region has began intercessory prayer sessions following the death of four students last week.

On Wednesday morning, December 6, 2017, school authorities including teachers, students and parents converged at the school’s Assembly Hall to seek God’s intervention.

Four students have died and at least 18 others hospitalized for an unknown diseases in less than one week.

The death of the fourth student on Tuesday morning prompted an emergency stakeholder meeting as parents rushed to the school in seeking to withdraw their wards.




What has made the issue murkier is the inability of health authorities to find the cause of the strange disease claiming the lives of innocent souls.

Test results from the Noguchi Memorial Centre for Medical Research have ruled out meningitis as the cause of multiple deaths at Kumasi Academy.

However, students have begun receiving Azithromycin antibiotics against possible bacterial infection.

Some parents suspect it could be spiritual hence the decision to organize the prayer session to drive out the evil spirits in the school.

Adom News reporter, Isaac Amoako Poncho who was at the school said the hall is packed to capacity with parents, students and teachers praying ceaselessly for divine intervention.
