Barcelona Transfer News: Lionel Messi told to follow Neymar out of La Liga by Mino Raiola

BARCELONA star Lionel Messi should quit La Liga for a new challenge elsewhere, according to Mino Raiola.
Barcelona are stuck in a rut ahead of the new La Liga season with the future of Messi a cause for concern.

The Catalan giants announced last month that the Argentina international had agreed a new four-year contract extension.

But it has since emerged that Barcelona are yet to get the 30-year-old to actually sign it.

And, speaking as speculation over Messi rumbles on, Raiola has told the forward he should leave his current club and pursue a new challenge elsewhere.

“A player like Messi must try another experience with a different club and prove how great he is,” he said.
”Barcelona must be reinvented again.”

Raiola has a huge influence at Manchester United, with the Red Devils singing clients such as Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku in the last 12 months.

However, any deals the super agent has brokered pale in comparison to Neymar’s £198million move to Paris Saint-Germain.

The Brazil star left Barcelona after four years at the Nou Camp after growing frustrated with playing second fiddle to Lionel Messi.

And Raiola reckons fees such as his will be normal from now on.
“The market, as such, no longer exists,” he added.
“Now it is countries who are signing players and that isn’t football.

“But transfers of 200 million euros are going to be normal from now on, it won’t be crazy to see that.”

Neymar has enjoyed a fine start to life at the Parc des Princes, scoring three goals from his first two games.
