Tottenham agree fee with Ajax for Davinson Sanchez – report

TOTTENHAM have reportedly agreed a fee with Ajax for defender Davinson Sanchez.
Tottenham are the only Premier League side yet to venture into the transfer market this summer.

And, as a result, supporters and players alike appear to be growing increasingly frustrated.

Danny Rose last week gave an explosive interview where he criticised the club for their failure to secure any reinforcements.

But the London Evening Standard claim their bad luck may be about to end, with Spurs supposedly agreeing a fee with Ajax for Sanchez.

Mauricio Pochettino wants the defender to add more steel to his back line.
However, it is said that he could end up costing them a sizeable £40million.

Ajax are set to pocket an initial £27m from his departure, a fee that will rise should certain performance clauses be met.

The London Evening Standard add that the delay in his signing was initially due to problems over the structure of those payments – but those issues have now been resolved.

Sanchez played 43 times last season and scored six goals as the Dutch side reached the Europa League final.
Meanwhile, in other Tottenham news, Express Sport understands Rose will not be granted a move away.
In the wake of his interview, Manchester United and Chelsea were tipped to snap him up.

But Tottenham will reject all bids for the England international in a decision that could now leave him in limbo.
