Ivan Perisic to Man Utd: Mourinho thinks players are too WEAK and wants to sign Inter ace

MANCHESTER UNITED boss Jose Mourinho still wants to sign Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic, reports claim.
Manchester United have spent the summer trying to prise Ivan Perisic away from Inter Milan.

But, so far, Mourinho has been thwarted in his attempts to land the Croatia international.

Talk over a transfer has cooled in recent weeks, with Inter determined to give the 28-year-old a new contract despite the player initially wanting to quit the San Siro for Old Trafford.

However, the Daily Mail claim Mourinho has not given up on making Perisic his fourth signing of the transfer window.
While this information is unsurprising, Mourinho is said to have several reasons for continuing to pursue a deal.

He supposedly is concerned that his attacking talents are too WEAK, believing they get pushed off the ball to easily.

Marcus Rashford may have spent the summer bulking up, but Henrikh Mkhitaryan continues to struggle for consistency.

The Armenia international’s best performances for the club have come in Europe, suggesting the physical nature of the Premier League continues to have an effect on him.
He thinks Perisic has the strength to handle life in England football and also thinks he can strike up a good footballing relationship with the likes of Rashford, Mkhitaryan and Romelu Lukaku.
Mourinho is eying a player capable of interchanging with his forwards as the Red Devils bid to win the Premier League title.

Should his bid to land Perisic be successful, the Serie A star would become the club’s fourth summer signing.

So far, United have tied up deals for Lukaku, Victor Lindelof and Nemanja Matic.
