Neymar wants Philippe Coutinho to join him at PSG: Alexis Sanchez a back-up option

NEYMAR wants Paris Saint-Germain to sign Philippe Coutinho should the Barcelona star agree to joining the Ligue 1 club.
That’s according to French newspaper Le Parisien who claim PSG are pulling out all the stops to sign Neymar.

Barcelona are hopeful the Brazil international will opt to remain in Spain but PSG are willing to trigger his £196million release clause.




The French giants are ready to build a team around Neymar and the report claims he has already put together a list of players he wants to see join him in Paris.

And Liverpool star Coutinho is at the top of the list, who has heavily been linked with a move to Barcelona.
Neymar and Coutinho are long-time friends having grown up playing together for the national team.

The newspaper claims Neymar has “dreamed of playing with him under the Parisian jersey”.

But they go on to say PSG are unlikely to chase after Coutinho’s signature, with Liverpool wanting more than £80m.
However, PSG reportedly identified Alexis Sanchez as the ideal alternative to Coutinho.
The Arsenal star is understood to be keen on a move to Manchester City but it is claimed a meeting with PSG sporting director Antero Henrique left a lasting impression on Sanchez.

But the Chile international’s wage demands have reportedly put PSG off from making a move.
