Marco Verratti to Barcelona: PSG star will NOT force move putting transfer in doubt

MARCO VERRATTI will NOT force an exit from PSG in a bid to join Barcelona this summer.
Verratti is one of Barcelona’s top targets as Ernesto Valverde looks to overhaul his new side.

Verratti is seen as the heir to Xavi and Andres Iniesta but PSG are desperate to keep him.

The Italy international’s agent was trying to push a move from the Ligue 1 side but Verratti is refusing to hand in a transfer request.

And that could see Barca miss out on the 24-year-old.
Barcelona have had a frustrating summer following the arrival of Valverde.




They missed out on Theo Hernandez and Dani Ceballos, who both joined Real Madrid.

Philippe Coutinho looks set to stay at Liverpool, Hector Bellerin is proving a difficult purchase and now Verratti could stay at PSG.
Diario Gol claim Verratti will not force his exit and also harbours doubts about Barcelona.

He is said to be concerned with background problems at the club and could end up staying at PSG.

The midfielder has impressed over the last few years at PSG but was frustrated as they were beaten to the Ligue 1 title last season and failed to impress in the Champions League.
