Real Madrid for their treatment of Morata in transfer saga

MANCHESTER UNITED fans have torn into Real Madrid on Twitter over the club’s treatment of Alvaro Morata.
Real striker Morata was poised to seal a move to Old Trafford this summer but United were reluctant to meet the £76million valuation of the 24-year-old.

Morata had been in contact with Jose Mourinho and reportedly agreed personal terms ahead of a deal before the Red Devils made a shock £75m move for Everton’s Romelu Lukaku.

Reports in Spain suggest Morata was ‘upset’ about the failed transfer, but Manchester United fans are convinced Los Blancos president Florentino Perez is to blame.

It is not the first time Real have struggled to complete a deal with United, infamously falling victim of a faulty fax machine when trying to sign David De Gea back in 2015.
