Yaw Sekyi Makes Ghana Basketball Proud – EMY’s 2017 Awards

FAST BREAK,popular Basketball TV show Host, and Chief Executive officer of Rite Multimedia, Yaw Sekyi Afari won the 2017 EMYs Award for the Man of the Year Sports.

He was nominated together with other equally deserving members in the sports fraternity;Tony Baffoe, Kwasi Nyantakyi, Emmanuel Tagoe, Herbert Mensah and Yaw Ampofo Ankrah for their commitment, and contribution to sports in the country.

Yaw Sekyi Afari , for his consistent contribution to development of grassroots basketball, promoting and encouraging the youth through  basketball deserved the recognition. Notable events which has gradually won millions of followers to the basketball fraternity in Ghana under his watch are; SpriteBall, UPAC Games, Ghana Basketball Award among others.

 




This years EMYs  which was held on Saturday June 24 at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel, Accra witnessed distinguished personalities from the entertainment  industry, sports, business, technology,arts,fashion and communication.The event was organized by Exclusive Men’s Magazine, Carbon AV and Mediaspace Cyber Media.
