Asamankese: Three die in fatal accident

Three persons are reported dead in a fatal motor accident at Asamankese in the Eastern region.

Six persons are also in critical conditions and have been rushed to the Asamankese Government Hospital and Koforidua Regional Hospital.

The accident occurred when a Toyota vehicle full of passengers from Akyem Oda to Accra attempted to prevent a head-on collision with an oncoming vehicle which resulted in the fatal motor crash.

According to an witness, two people died on the spot while one other passenger died at the hospital. He added that those in critical condition have been transferred from the Asamankese Government Hospital to Koforidua.
