Pensacola mayor honours CRI boss Bright Appiah

The Mayor of Pensacola-Florida, USA has conferred Honorary Citizen title on Ghanaian child’s rights advocate Bright Appiah.

The Executive Director of award-winning Child’s Rights International was presented with a certificate on Wednesday in recognition of his hard work in protecting the rights of minors in Ghana and Africa as a whole.




Mr. Appiah used his Facebook wall to express gratitude to the mayor:

Pensacola is a waterfront city in the north of the U.S. state of Florida. It’s separated from the Gulf of Mexico by Santa Rosa Island, and its protected beaches make it a popular holiday destination. The city was one of the earliest European settlements in the U.S.
