U-17 AFCON: Nyantakyi warns Black Starlets against complacency

President of the Ghana Football Association, Kwesi Nyantakyi has warned the Black Starlets against complacency ahead of their semi final clash against Niger today.
Ghana is yet to concede a goal at the competition after scoring nine goals from three games.
But Nyantakyi believes with a fair knowledge of the Nigeriens as a result of a back to back defeat prior to the competition at the Accra Sports Stadium the GFA boss believes complacency could set in and he warns.

“At this moment don’t be swollen headed because this is just the beginning to stardom because we (Ghana) were the first team to quality to the World Cup and the World Cup is the biggest stage which is in October. So just stay focus and don’t be carried away by praises I have jokingly told my colleagues Ghana will be scoring 20 goals and so far Ghana we have scored 9 goals”, he told Starr Sports.
Meanwhile, Algerian Mustapha Ghorbal will be the centre referee for today’s clash against Niger and will be assisted by Aymen Ismail of Tunisia and Attia Amsaad of Libya.
The match will be played at the Stade Port Gentil at 14:30 GMT
