Bullhaus rep who GHAMRO sent my royalties to denies receiving any amount – Shatta Wale

Days after dancehall act Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr. popularly known as Shatta Wale went haywire on social media to demand for his royalties from the Ghana Music Right Organisation (GHAMRO), the chairman and vice chairman (Rex Omar and Bandex) of the organisation has disclosed to the management of the artiste the account number they paid his royalties into.

Speaking on Facebook Live, Thursday, the ‘Kakai’ hitmaker said after his management had conducted its own investigation, it was revealed that the money as claimed by GHAMRO was sent to a team member of Bulhaus Entertainment called Rafiq through MTN mobile money.

According to Shatta Wale, his management reported the case to the Legon Police Station to invite the young man who allegedly received the dancehall musician’s royalties to solve the matter amicably.

The award winning dancehall act said, after the police had interrogated the Team member from Bulhaus Entertainment, he denied ever receiving any money from GHAMRO.

“I told the boy that he is rather denting the image of GHAMRO but he still persist that he had never received any amount being royalty from GHAMRO so I told myself that I won’t allow this matter to die, I will follow up till the truth is known because this is getting too serious,” Shatta Wale said.

He has for the time being given GHAMRO the ultimatum to check through their files carefully to know who has been taking his royalties.

The dancehall musician few days ago threatened to take GHAMRO on for failing to pay his royalties.

In a Facebook post on Wednesday, May 3, the ‘chop kiss’ hit singer threatened to go out of control if GHAMRO royalties due him are not paid.
