VANDASU Set to release its First Song-Compilation

For the first time in the history​ of Ghana, a Tertiary Supporters Group are ready to launch their compilation geared towards supporting the various National teams of Ghana.

According to the National organizer of the Vandals and Associates Supporters Union (VANDASU), Mr. Derrick Nyarkoh, he expressed that this concept is a wake up call to revive the patriotism among the youth to also boost the sports in the country.He added that it was high time the youth channel their energies and creative at the right direction.

He mentioned that the songs which is a blend of gospel and “morale” songs was composed to boost the spirit and morale of the players irrespective of the discipline and all Ghanaians.

Famous Hip-life sound engineer Posigee , for the first time has recorded VANDASU in Commonwealth Hall and was pleased to working with them.




“the guys were great, they were on point and it wasn’t too challenging recording them”he said.

He added that they were on time for the session and appeared very prepared for the recording.

“Am always on time, and it was no surprise that the guys were ready for me and were prepared. They were ready and they knew what they were up to” he said.

Posigee who has bent a niche in his field by recording famous musicians such as Sarkodie just to mention but a few in Ghana, added that, he was impressed with the kind of songs VANDASU came up with and the sort of creativity they deployed during the session.

He acknowledged that VANDASU have indeed shown that they are a Tertiary Group and have a brighter future.


Meanwhile, the Union which was formed in 2013, registered with the Registrar General Department as the first Tertiary Supporters Union whose roots was from Commonwealth Hall, have been on many media platforms and shows in Ghana. They have been on GTV on numerous occasions, TV3, Nana Aba show – Diva’s (Show when she was at TV3) and many more.
Delegation of the Union were in Brazil 2014, and the recent AFCON 2017 in Garbon, UPAC 2016, 2017 games and more.

They are looking forward to Supporting the various National teams to Victory.

The song is scheduled to be released by the end of the month, April 2017.
