Shatta Wale is like President Nana Addo – A Plus

Musician Kwame Asare Obeng affectionately called A Plus believes his colleague Charles Nii Armah Mensah aka Shatta Wale is like President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo who does not easily give up.

According to him, both in the pursuit of their visions are always determined and work seriously towards it irrespective of the destructions and obstructions from haters who wish they never live to achieve their dreams.

“Shatta Wale suffers to get what he wants. His dream is to become the best dancehall artiste in Ghana and working towards it.

Nana Addo also wanted to become president to change Ghana. Despite earlier electoral defeats, he did not become discouraged and today he is the president and implementing his dream”, he observed.

He called haters of Shatta Wale who are wishing his downfall to rethink and rather support him to achieve in what he has chosen to do.

“What will it do to you if you wish the downfall of your brother? The guy has suffered and he is reaping the benefits of his labour. If you want to cheat him he will get angry and if you don’t recognize his efforts he will also get angry does that make him a bad person”, he asked.

Giving a background of how they both suffered he said “Ok let me tell you the story of Charles Nii Armah Mensah aka Shatta Wale and I…. 1999 we lived in the same area in Lartebiokorshie Accra. I remember very well when in 2005, then Bandana and I went to Nsawam for a show and the organisers runaway. We didn’t have money to come back to Accra…. the way we suffered to come to Accra? No be small. I know his story. I’m happy for him. Do yours and wish your brother well. That is how to make it in life”
