B/A: Three electrocuted at Jema

Three persons have been electrocuted at Jema in the Kintampo South district of the Brong Ahafo region.
The three; Sumaila Iliasu 25, Kwadwo Kusi 21 and Kwaku Adjei 29, were among nine people contracted by one Kofi Emmanuel, a driver to dig holes for him to fix some electric poles around his house.
The deceased however got electrocuted when a live wire fell on them while digging to plant the poles.




The bodies have been deposited at the Kintampo Municipal Hospital Morgue waiting autopsy.
Six other persons who got injured in the incident namely; Joseph Megan 32,Yaw Konadu 40,Kwaku Gasman, Damoah Kwabena 21 , Kwabena Boahen 24 and another whose name is yet to be known are currently receiving treatment at the Kintampo Municipal Hospital.
A local Journalist in the area, Collins Kwabena Agyemang, reports that the entire Jema township has been thrown into a state of mourning.
