DELTA FORCE 1: Ghana Must Test The Law - Political Parties should dare

*DELTA FORCE 1: Ghana Must Test The Law – Political Parties should dare*

The resent issue about unauthorized security operatives , vigilante groups sprouting up into the public eye has the capacity of leading Ghana into dangerous path.

Ghanaians believe in rule of law, and the utmost respect for the judicial system but, to bring them to disrepute means our “so cherished” democracy and peace would be trampled upon. Who dares to even question the court? Sadly the voiceless, without thick muscles-“macho men”, turn to face rath should they dare to even disrespect the judicial system.

Where are our advocacy groups? Where are our human rights activist? They are silent!

I must admit, the great move by the Ghana Bar Association,as they issue a press release registering their displeasure to that act.

Condemn the Action of Delta Force!

What struck the media space,as Delta Force stormed a Kumasi Circuit court, vandalised some court properties and freed 13 of their members, who were facing trial for allegedly harassing the Ashanti Regional Security Coordinator,George Adjei was just unfortunate.

It was no surprise that few bold NPP and some NDC Politicians condemn the act by this vigilante group. While others have literally spill fear with their rage into our judicial system, others have sat back to allow this vigilante group to break the utmost proceedings of the court.
This is unacceptable!

Our security officials shouldn’t be insulted in the face like that, or they are respecting command to make the call. No wonder the Politician is more powerful.

Their motivation is simple. Jobs for the people. A message from NPP most controversial MP , Kennedy Agyapong on UTV, after boldly condemning the act by Delta Force, he revealed that, those Delta Force were deployed to protect the party during the campaign period and were not promised National Security as such, some of them have no educational background to warrant them of such position but, they would be sorted out as expressed. The issue is a Political party “wahala” and for it to be open in such an untimely situations in Ghana, where we claim UK and other investors are coming in to invest in our Economy as agreed by our Vice President?
Then, we must rethink and address this situation for appropriate sanctions be applied to them all.
Unless the law is above or below Delta Force.

*What Vigilante group can cause*

Such people can equally to inspired by like-minded militant group in the subregion, the least mentioned is the Boko Haram in Nigeria. They were fighting for a cause, a group funded by some influencial members of the society, leading to kidnapping of innocent people especially girls , destruction of life and properties among others. Exactly what Delta Force can do, when care is not taken.

We don’t need the Genesis of the issues, we know what such party vigilante groups play in Politics, what they need and why their actions have been brought to the lime light, but for one to obstruct Justice to this pedegre, then the law must apply to them all.Should “causing fear and panic law be evoked”? We dare the Politician! It’s a challenge, let’s fix it.

Ghana is not for NPP and NDC only, Ghana is all of us. A country with a population of about 27million,is not ready to be embarrassed in the international community. A country which has enjoyed peace and being a beacon of democracy in Africa, should not be subdue to such an outrageous acts. The law should work!

The “Montie -3” should learn a lesson from their verbal abuse to the Chief Justice, having suffered sanctions applied by the court.
Now, this is clear physical abuse, destruction of property and obstruction of court proceedings. What does the law say?

Let’s test the law, Political Parties dare not!
